Inscription: Napier

I'm not convinced this isn't Rev. Davie Napier, who graduated from Samford, where I teach.

Davie Napier taught at Yale and Stanford and served as president of the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley. He graduated from Samford, back when it was Howard College, in the 1930s.

Dr. Napier died four years ago, having lost his wife about four years prior. I'm reading the obituaries and they're beautiful. They sound like lovely, lovely people.

But I'm still not sure if Davie Napier and the Napier in this picture are the same man, but I'm trying to find out.
