Same fence, same bushes, same house. Definitely a different girl.
If you'll notice the right hand its pulling a bit teasingly at the dress. This photograph did not go to an uncle. And there's no way of knowing where Jo Ann has gone.
The fence draws the eye to the woman, and from there you fall into the background. And then you wonder: they had screened-in porches in the 1940s?
Maybe it took a second to convince the photographer, or to work up her own nerve, but our mystery woman, had the recipient of this photograph in mind. You don't take this photograph without a meditated audience.
She could have never imagined her current infamy.
